Ramon Colon, BSME, is the Quality Control Manager at InterNACHI, bringing over a decade of mechanical engineering and home inspection experience to the role. A Certified Master Inspector and former owner of Zafras Property Services, he oversees inspection report accuracy, field operations, and program compliance for the My Safe Florida Home initiative. Ramon previously managed complex structural and quality operations in aerospace, civil works, and commercial real estate, and currently serves as Vice President of the Home Inspector Association of South Florida.

Rob Claus

CCPIA® Education Director & Lead Instructor

Rob Claus is an Illinois-licensed home inspector and has been a professional inspector since 1988. He’s personally inspected more than 15,000 properties. Rob has held numerous industry-elected positions and has taught for some of the leading inspection education providers in the country, and has been a frequent presenter at national inspection conferences. In 2022, Rob assumed the role of Director of Education for CCPIA®, the Certified Commercial Property Inspectors Association, helping create in-person classes and online courses.

Shannon Gatewood

Shannon Gatewood is a TREC-Licensed Professional Inspector and a Certified Master Inspector®. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years. Having done a little bit of everything construction-wise during his building career, he likes to joke with his military buddies that there is not a carpenter in the Air Force that has run more conduit, pulled more wire, or installed more chiller and fan coil units than he has. Through a twist of fate and a little bit of luck, Shannon has found a second career in the home inspection world.

He started out as a Dealer Sales Representative, Technical Sales Representative for concrete and currently in the Territory Sales Manager role since 2019 all within the Houston region. Matt Loves working at Simpson and loves the interaction with everyone he encounters in his day-to-day travels.
